Every detail,
felt.

Luxury wedding and event planning for those who believe the atmosphere of a room is as important as what happens inside it.

The best events don't
feel planned. They feel
inevitable.

Jennifer Wong Events is a New York City luxury planning studio where the process is just as good as the party. I bring warmth, taste, and a genuine obsession with the details to every event, and I work with a select number of clients each season so that every single one feels like my only one.

Whether you're planning a wedding in the West Village or a dinner party on a Tuscan hillside, I'm here to make it extraordinary. And honestly? We're going to have a lot of fun getting there.

How it works

Planning something wonderful
should feel that way too

1
We meet
A discovery call, no prep, no pressure. Just a real conversation about what you're planning and whether I'm the right fit for you. (I probably am.)
2
We dream
Once we're working together, I dig deep. Your vision, your aesthetic, the feelings you want in the room. This is the fun part, and I take it seriously.
3
We build
Vendors curated, timelines built, every detail managed. You stay involved in the things you love; I handle everything else, including the things you didn't know to worry about.
4
You arrive
On the day itself, you are a guest at your own event. Relaxed, present, and completely undistracted by logistics. That's the whole point, and I deliver it, every time.

"I don't manage your wedding. I compose it — every vendor, every moment, every sensory detail in service of a single, unrepeatable night."

What I do
01
Luxury weddings
Full-service planning and creative direction for New York City weddings and destination celebrations; from intimate ceremonies for twenty to grand receptions for three hundred. From your first venue visit to your last guest saying goodbye, I am fully, enthusiastically in it with you.
02
Destination events
Italy, the Caribbean, France, beyond. I handle venue sourcing, vendor curation, and on-the-ground coordination across time zones so you arrive as a guest at your own celebration. I also have strong opinions about where to eat the night before your wedding, and I will share them freely.
03
Private dining & entertaining
The dinner party is an art form that deserves a revival. Brunches, intimate dinners, cocktail evenings; every element considered from the menu to the music to the seating plan. You show up. Your guests are delighted. You take all the credit. I am genuinely fine with that.
04
Milestone celebrations
Significant birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, retirement dinners. The moments that deserve more than a restaurant reservation and a cake. I scale beautifully, and I bring the same considered approach whether the guest list is ten or a hundred.
05
Corporate & brand events
Your company has a brand. Your events should feel like it. Product launches, client dinners, executive retreats, team celebrations; I design experiences that make your guests feel exactly as valued as you intend. I've heard "it's just a corporate event" before. I don't believe that.
06
Month-of coordination
You planned your wedding. You know what you want. What you need now is a seasoned director to step in about two months out, take over every vendor communication, build the master timeline, run your rehearsal, and execute the day flawlessly, so you can actually be present for every moment of it.
Jennifer Wong
The creative director

A tastemaker's eye,
a planner's precision.

Before this, I spent years in finance and fashion, which gave me a near-pathological attention to detail and a very strong opinion about seating arrangements. What neither of those careers prepared me for was how it would feel to watch a vision I'd obsessed over for months come to life in a single evening. That was it.

I built this studio because I genuinely love this; the planning, the people, the creative problem-solving at 11pm the night before an event. Every client gets the version of me that is fully invested, endlessly enthusiastic, and slightly too attached to the centerpiece vision. My background in finance and fashion gives me a lens that most planners don't have: taste that's been rigorously edited, and logistics that are airtight.

Based in New York City. Available everywhere. Known for crying at ceremonies and having extremely strong opinions about florals, which my clients tend to find very useful.

Client words

What my clients say

WE DID IT! Jenn, we truly can't thank you enough for everything. We had the best time, and we couldn't have done it without you! Everyone has been just raving about how beautiful everything was and really, it was perfect.

Alexis M.

It has taken us a few weeks to come down from Cloud 9 and put into words how thankful we were for your expertise in coordinating a wedding day that we will never forget. Your support meant the world to us, and we were able to relax and enjoy knowing that we were in good hands.

Allison B.

I don't think I can put into words how grateful I am for you. But I'm going to try anyways! You made the last year of planning not only easy, but fun. You truly made my vision not only come to life, but better than I could've dreamed. It was the best day & night of my life. You made us feel so taken care of, we didn't have to worry about anything. You and your team are true professionals. We are forever grateful. Love you.

Good questions

A few things people
always want to know

How far in advance should I reach out?
For weddings, twelve to eighteen months is ideal, especially during peak season. That said, I've pulled together beautiful events in six months. If you're wondering whether it's too late, reach out anyway.
Do you plan events outside New York City?
Absolutely. Destination events are a real passion. Italy, the Caribbean, Europe, if you have a place in mind, I've likely either worked there or have strong vendor connections there.
What does full-service planning actually include?
Everything. Venue sourcing and contract negotiation, full vendor curation and management, design direction, budget oversight, timeline creation, month-of execution, and the approximately four hundred smaller decisions in between.

I take on a limited number of new clients each season. Tell me about what you're planning; the date, the vibe, the one thing you're not compromising on. Oversharing is encouraged.
